The present and the near future of La Manuelita run in parallel on the technological innovation tracks.

A “new La Manuelita” is being established, practical example of cross-technology between manufacturing knowledge and hi-tech skills, which aims to reinvent the industrialisation processes, drawing from cutting-edge technologies already being tested in other areas, but never proposed in the footwear industry.

To demonstrate this innovative vision, La Manuelita for the first time has developed, in collaboration with a pool of specialised companies, a robotic system suitable for use in the finishing department of high-end women’s shoes. This robotic cell, already inserted in the production line, is now able to automatically perform four of the bottom operations: roughing, pounding, carding and bonding, thus ensuring a constant quality for the entire production, even in the case of small quantities.
